Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Community Fridge needs to vacate their main venue on the town centre at the Wellbeing Centre by the end of August 2022. The Wellbeing Centre has attracted a huge number of clients, and offered exceptional facilities to the team in the heart of the town. The short notice is an obvious problem and trying to get things moving in August is always an additional challenge – so this is now urgent!

As Churches, we are  supporting this important project in prayerful and practical ways as it provides an increasingly important service in our community.  The main purpose of the project is to divert food donated by local supermarkets which would otherwise end up in landfill, providing free products to local people. However, as the cost of living crisis develops it is providing a lifeline to individuals and families who benefit from the free food.
