Safe Families and Home for Good are looking for a Church and Community Relationships Coordinator for West Sussex and Hampshire.
This new role will involve building relationships with churches and Christian networks. The role offers an opportunity to work alongside churches and communities to help more children and families experience belonging, support and hope. As a Church and Community Relationships Coordinator, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Build and nurture relationships with church leaders, networks and individual Christians.
- Inspire and equip churches to respond to the needs of children and families in their communities.
- Create opportunities to speak in churches and at events, sharing a message of hope, compassion and hospitality.
- Help churches develop communities of care, belonging and support.
- Encourage and support people to explore fostering, adoption, supported lodgings and other ways of making a difference.
- Recruit and develop a team of volunteer Church Champions, helping to multiply the impact across the region.
The role is 0.6 FTE (22.5 hours per week) | Permanent contract, subject to continued partnership funding | Hybrid working
