Dudley House Trust are looking for an enthusiastic and capable Shop Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of their community hardware and craft shop in Handcross, West Sussex and steer its development as a community hub for the local area. This is a residential position, with accommodation provided on site in the house adjoining the shop.
Dudley House Trust was established 25 years ago by members of the local Christian community as part of the church’s commitment to serving the wider village community. This has been primarily through running Handcross Hardware and Craft a not-for-profit community shop which also acts as a community hub for village resources. Their work is inspired by Christian values of service, generosity, hospitality, integrity and care for others.
