As we look ahead to Father’s Day this Sunday, we ask the Lord to bless fathers in our community, helping them parent their children through different stages of life.
- Ask God to give them the confidence and skills they need to love, care for and nurture their children.
- Pray for single parent families and lone dads this week.
- Pray for more positive male role models for young people so that they will grow up with healthy attitudes towards others.
- Pray for fathers who are grieving, struggling in their role, or separated from their children, that they may know God’s presence, strength and hope. Pray also for those who are grieving the loss or absence of thier father.
