This week, we pray for all the children involved in the Horsham Children’s Parade, and for all the families coming along to the Funday Sunday in Horsham Park. May it be a time of joy, laughter and community.
We pray too for those who will join in the fun at the Horsham Churches Together stall. Please pray that our presence would be more than just friendly fun – may people encounter a glimpse of the presence of God.
Let’s especially pray for the families who:
- Are carrying burdens they can’t name
- Have never heard the gospel before
- Whose faith is flickering and in need of encouragement
May our words be kind, our smiles genuine, and our conversations open the door to something deeper. May we plant seeds of hope, and trust the Spirit to water them.
A prayer:
Lord Jesus,
Thank you for the joy of gathering with our town.
As we take our place in the park this Sunday, may we carry your presence with us.
Help us to see each visitor not just as a passer-by, but as someone deeply loved by you.Give us boldness to speak, gentleness to listen, and wisdom to know what to say.
May your Spirit be at work in every encounter—drawing people closer to your heart. In your name we pray,
Amen.
