Prayer changes things. From 10 to 18 October 2026, Christians across the UK are being invited to join together for the National Week of Prayer. It is a chance to pray for our churches, our communities and our nation.
The theme for 2026 is: Gather. Remember. Return. The invitation is simple. Come back to God, remember his faithfulness and seek him together. Prayer is more than bringing our requests to God. It is about listening, trusting and making room for him to work in our lives and communities.
Churches and individuals are encouraged to take part in whatever way works best. It might be a prayer gathering, a prayer walk, a small group meeting or time set aside at home.
Let’s pray for:
• our local communities
• those facing hardship and uncertainty
• churches across the UK
• a renewed love for God and his ways
