Earth Day, celebrated annually on April 22, is the world’s largest environmental movement dedicated to protecting the planet from pollution, climate change, and deforestation.
- Find a quiet spot in your garden or a local park and reflect on the words, “Be still, and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10). Spend a few moments simply listening to the sounds of nature, offering thanks to the Creator for the life around you.
- Pray for the Horsham Eco Church network, as they equip churches and inspire lasting environmental transformation in the local community. Pray for each of the churches involved and the monthly Sussex Green Hub.
- Pray: “Lord, how can I be a better steward of your creation?” Commit to one small step towards change in your daily life as your response to that prayer.
