After 35 years of homelessness, trauma and addiction, Jamie is now living independently in his first permanent home. With support from Turning Tides’ Recovery Project, the Fellowship and his church, Jamie has rebuilt his life and now uses his experience to inspire others on their recovery journey. He hopes one day to open a Recovery Café.
His story is a powerful reminder of what can happen when determination, compassion, faith and the right support come together. Turning Tides provides outreach, accommodation, recovery and resettlement services to help people experiencing homelessness rebuild their lives.
