What a joy to be part of Rotary Funday Sunday in Horsham Park on 6th July 2025, and what an opportunity for us to be present in the heart of the community, welcoming families to play together and connect with our local churches.
Over 300 children (plus their grown-ups) visited our stall throughout the afternoon, playing classic games like hook-a-duck, tin can alley, ring toss, jumbo connect four, giant Jenga. Children also had great fun blowing bubbles at the bubble station! Alongside the edible prizes, we gave out children’s activity books, Christian magazines, and gospel leaflets. We even provided shelter from a rather dramatic downpour.
We had some lovely conversations with families, particularly sharing about the toddler groups and children’s activities run by churches across Horsham. Many were already connected in some way; others were just discovering how much is happening in churches and community spaces throughout the area. If you’d like to find out what’s happening in a church near you, visit www.horshamct.org.uk.
A huge thank you to all the amazing volunteers from across our churches who gave their time so generously, and to the Rotary Club of Horsham for organising such a fantastic event.
