Local churches are great places to have conversations with people who have experienced a life transforming encounter with Jesus. You’ll be very welcome at any of our Sunday services or church activities. Alpha
Alpha is a series of group conversations that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith in an open, friendly environment. Everyone’s welcome. No matter your background or beliefs, you’re invited. Churches in Horsham run Alpha throughout the year, with the current courses listed below. You can also contact us to find our dates for future courses, or use the national Alpha map to find a course.

Christian Enquiry Agency
Do you have questions about faith? Is there a God? What is Christianity all about? The christianity.org.uk website provides answers to all kinds of questions about the Christian faith. You can event message your questions to the team, and received a personalised responses! Their faith journeys page is particularly inspiring, with video stories of people talking about their faith. Run by the Christian Enquiry Agency, a national agency of Churches Together in England.
Read the Bible
Reading the Bible is a great way to discover more about who Jesus is. The Bible is a collection of books written over thousands of years, and a great place to start is the Gospel of Mark, which you can read online at bible.com. You can also watch a movie of the gospel, produced by the LUMO project. If you prefer a printed Bible, please do contact us.
Pray
We believe praying to Jesus makes a difference in our community and in our daily lives. If you would like someone to pray with you, then either contact us or visit your local church. HCT also organises regular Prayer & Worship events, drawing people together to pray for our local community – see the events page for upcoming dates. You can also join with others in praying for the local area through the Horsham Virtual Prayer Room.
