Today, Wednesday 12 August, Horsham will experience a spectacular partial solar eclipse, with around 92% of the Sun obscured at its peak. The eclipse begins at 6.18pm, reaches maximum at 7.15pm, and ends at 8.08pm.
As we look up at this remarkable sight, it can also remind us of the wonder of God’s creation and our place within it. “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” (Psalm 19:1)
