Prayer Focus
Praying for Local Government
This week, with local government elections taking place on Thursday 7th May 2026, we invite you to pray for our county, district, and parish councils.
- Pray for all those standing in elections for West Sussex County Council, the newly formed Horsham Parish Council, and the Horsham District Council ward by-election for Itchingfield, Slinfold & Warnham. Pray that all our local councillors would serve their communities with integrity, wisdom, and humility.
- Pray for all those working in local government, giving thanks for their service and asking the Lord to give them insight, energy, and compassion as they serve their local community.
- Pray for the decisions being made in our local councils at this time, that they would lead to social justice and the flourishing of our communities.
