As we look forward to Carols in the Carfax this Saturday, take some time this week to pray for the event and for our town centre. In the midst of a busy market day, we will be inviting people to pause and remember the hope of Christmas.
Pray that the message of Jesus’ birth will be heard, as Jesus comes to meet people where they are.
Pray for opportunities in the conversations after the event, for people to be curious about faith and interested in finding out more.
And pray for all those taking part in the service, playing their instruments or volunteering behind the scenes.
