On Sunday 23rd November 2025, we gathered at Kingdom Faith Church for an evening of Worship & Prayer, organised by Horsham Churches Together.
Inspired by the Christ the King Sunday in the liturgical calendar, our time of sung worship centred on exalting Jesus as our Lord and King, stirring our hearts for mission and discipleship. Clive Urquhart (HCT Moderator) reflected on Acts 10, urging us to share our faith with those outside our comfort zone.
Pete Dibdin (HCT Development Co-Ordinator) then invited us to adopt a posture of prayer for the season of Advent, as we prayed over the seasonal mission and evangelism planned across our churches. We also prayed by name for people to come to know Jesus this Christmas. To help keep this posture of prayer going throughout Advent, follow the Horsham Virtual Prayer Room and use our “What’s On at Christmas” page as your daily prayer guide.
Looking ahead, we have the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity running from 18th to 25th January 2026, with daily prayer gatherings and a united service at St Mary’s at 6pm on Saturday 25th January. Check out the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity page on our website for a taster of what’s planned.
