If you are homeless, or at risk of becoming homeless, these organisations are here to help.
YMCA Horsham
Children and young people facing homelessness in Horsham can find a safe, supportive home with YMCA Horsham. They offer a 24-hour supported housing with wraparound support so that residents can get the emotional support, life skills and help back into education, training or employment to enable them to ‘move on’ successfully to independence.
Turning Tides
Started in 1991 by a group of Christians in Worthing, Turning Tides is now the largest provider of services for single homeless people in West Sussex, supporting over 1000 people a year through their community hubs, street outreach and supported accommodation units – including a 50-bed facility at Roffey Place.
Hope In
The Hope In is a community drop-in run by the Horsham Salvation Army for individuals or families who need to receive practical help and support and a listening ear, especially in the area of homelessness and food poverty. They are open from 6pm on Thursday evenings, offering a hot meal and support from their foodbank.
